Version 1.7 of a program "Ruler and Compass" updated June, 14, 2008 includes new algebra module, quadratic functions and cubic functions module.
One of new features is a calculator, which computes with accuracy (up to) 900 significant digits.
Version 1.7 has an option for complex numbers and complex functions. See

Write coefficients of cubic function and see roots written as mathematical expressions or their numerical values or graph of cubic function at the same time on your computer's screen.
Latest module of version 1.7 - "Curves". It allows to construct any parameterized curve or its image of any
analytic function.
These modules may be
helpful in learning mathematics and you can have it free. You will be able to see graphs of
functions customized in any possible ways. Functions formulas are written in a nice way, since
there is a function's editor included.

Run downloaded file 'installrc.exe'.
